Please join us to meet the leading candidates on the Democratic ticket and hear from them directly about their respective positions on a variety of topics, as well as their priorities if elected as the U.S. Representative for Hawaii’s First Congressional District.

Dr. John Hart is the Communication Department Chair and a professor at Hawaii Pacific University (HPU). Hart is a noted political analyst whose insights are often sought out by media outlets on election night. He recently served as the moderator for HPU’s own candidate forums for Lieutenant Governor in February and the First Congressional District in March.
