Kona Brewery, Hawaii's oldest and largest craft brewery established in 1994, is today a top 10 national craft beer brand, best known for flagships such as Kona Longboard Lager and Big Wave Golden Ale. Around a dozen styles of beer are brewed on a regular basis and served at the company's pubs, while the flagship beers are widely distributed throughout Hawaii, making Kona the top selling craft beer in the islands. In addition, other beers are distributed through all 50 states and 26 countries. The flagship brewhouse is run in Kailua-Kona, and currently produces around 12,000 barrels of beer annually. Kona Brewery also produces its bottled beer and mainland draft beer in Oregon, Washington, Tennessee, and New Hampshire as part of its partnership with Craft Brew Alliance Inc.
