Join the Chamber's Young Professionals organization for an informative discussion with Chuck Harris on "The Five Biggest Mistakes a Young Professional Can Make," a lively discussion where Harris will cover the biggest blunders that can limit or derail a young professional's career. For instance, is a large ego a good or bad leadership trait? Should you "take the arrow" when things go wrong?
Chuck Harris is an executive in Honolulu with a varied 33-year management background in finance, operations, and engineering. He is currently a Partner with The Shidler Group focusing on new real estate acquisition strategies. Before this he was a nuclear submarine officer over a 22-year career that culminated in command of the USS Honolulu, a Los Angeles-class fast attack submarine stationed in Pearl Harbor. Harris holds a master’s degree in business administration from the University of North Carolina and a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of South Carolina.
