U.S. Representative Jill Tokuda
Congresswoman Tokuda was elected in November 2022 to serve in the 118th Congress. She currently serves on the House Committee on Agriculture, the Committee on Armed Services, and the Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic.
Congresswoman Tokuda is a lifelong resident of Kaneohe and a graduate of James B. Castle High School. She attended The George Washington University, where she earned a BA in international relations.
Prior to being elected to Congress, Representative Tokuda served in the Hawaii State Senate, leading as chair of the powerful Ways and Means Committee. She also co-directed CyberHawaii and served as External Affairs Director at the Nisei Veterans Memorial Center on Maui.
