SUMMARY:COC Soft Skills Training Program
DESCRIPTION:The Chamber\, in partnership with Kapiolani Community College\, presents the Global Communications program. This program series includes two Courses: "Foundations of Communication" and "Communication and Collaborating with Others". Courses are created in modules\, with each one designed to build upon each other. Participants will first learn foundational communication skills and progress towards building skills to communicate effectively with various audiences and in different situations.\n\n\n\nThanks to the State of Hawaii's Workforce Development Division and their Employment & Training Fund (ETF) Program\, the course is subsidized so that employers will only have to pay for a fraction of the total cost. \n\n\n\nWe highly recommend registering and completing BOTH courses in sequence for the best outcomes. \n\n\n\nCourse 1: Foundations of Communication\n\n Module 1: Back to Basics: Communication and Perception (2 Hours)\n Module 2: Verbal Communication: The Language & Words We Use (2 Hours)\n Module 3: Non-Verbal Communication: The Power of Body Language (2 Hours)\n Module 4: Hello\, Can Anybody Hear Me?
