Cynthia Y.H. Derosier is a community strategist, facilitator, and social entrepreneur dedicated to strengthening connection, wellbeing, and purpose across Hawai‘i. She is the founder of Surfrider Spirit Sessions, a pioneering youth mentorship initiative launched over two decades ago in partnership with Hawai‘i’s court system. Built on a bold vision to connect youth with positive pathways through surfing and culturally grounded values, the program has become a respected model for fostering resilience, confidence, and a sense of kuleana.

Cynthia is also the founder of The Good Juju Co., a facilitation and strategy firm that helps organizations and communities co-create clear, actionable solutions to complex challenges. Known for her ability to bring diverse stakeholders together, Cyn’s work bridges sectors and perspectives, translating collective insight into meaningful, community-driven impact.
